Stuck in Russian

Hi there,

Recent Fire convert here... Loving Adium so far, however just ran into a problem I can't solve. I recently switched my language on my laptop to search for an old Russian Pen pal, just long enough for me to search his name in Google in Russian. After switching it back, I realized that now my Adium menu structure is in Russian. I'm not having this problem with any other programs (that I can find).

I've tried trashing the Adium 2.0 file under Application Support. I've trashed the preference file, I've even reinstalled the application. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get these menus back to English?

Not sure if this was the correct fix, but when I started seeing other applications with the problem, I started searching Apple's support for help.

The best solution I found was to do a "Get Info" on that application and just deselect the Russian language. Doesn't seem quite right, but at least I can read what's going on now.

Thats the easiest fix for this issue, for sure.

You have russian language ranked higher in international preferences for OS language. That list goes in order, if it doesnt find the top one, it goes on to the next. You did not need to add russian here to be able to type in russian, for that you only need to change the input prefs.
