The current set of MSN emoticons in AdiumX are incomplete. And there are third party addon available for the missing ones. Are there any plan to make them official?

Make emoticons shows up in Contract List.
Edit: What i mean if when user have there name with emoticons like (t) or .. etc. Currently the contact list simply shown up there respective letters. Not the actual emotions picture.

Either make nudge as a customizable event or make it have a sound and act like receiving a message where my adium icon in dock bar would bounce. There is no way i would have notice whether i have been nudged or not in the current implementation, apart from keep checking the Conversation window

Edit: Example when i receive a message from user "Apple" the dock icons will have the name Apple in it and flashing. However if i receive a nudge from user "Apple" the dock icon will not show anything.

I'm pretty sure nudges have been implemented in 1.0.

Correct. The OP's issue is that the implementation as-is is not visible enough and would like to customize to be more visible.

Yeh, there is no way of telling if you have received a nudge at the moment. Just a little dialogue in the message window would be good.

That is what occurs in 1.0.

We've been rather concerned about this causing issues for people more than solving problems. What issue does this address for you?

I would be interested to know what the problem is.
Let you try to explain the problem in more details.

In most cases my friend put their respective emotions as emoticons for the day. So say if they are sad they would have or something etc in their name. ( This isn't a very good example since you could easily guess what means. ) Another example is my friend would put up the beer icon if they are having party right now .
I like the MSN style to show up default emoticons as a way to show to other friend what they are up to or doing.

It Might be a problem if all emoticons are shown up like this.
Example would be if i have a custom emoticons where it would replace the letter "e" or "t" or any other letters, the contract list would obviously get very messy.
So i think it would be wise to only include the default MSN emoticons set in.
And since adium is a muti protocol client, may be it is a better idea to show the emoticons for the respective protocol. Although i am not sure if any other IM network have this features ( emoticons in contract list ) available in their official client.

And this bring us to the first suggestion as to why we need a complete default MSN icons set built in instead of using add on. Obviously if we dont have the full MSN icons set some emoticons on contract list would still be shown as their letters.

Yes you mentioned it in the comment. But it seems nothing has been done. The two suggestions you made are good and would be nice if some DEV could make a follow up on it.
