Xtras Date Column

Since Adium'x Xtras Manager doesn't yet have a means to allow users to seek updates to their xtras, a Last Updated column on the xtras list template would be really helpful. Then, I could more conveniently determine whether I likely have the latest versions of extras, no having to click each one to see its individual page with that information.
Is this possible?, and how soon do you think the Xtras Manager will have update functionality?
Thanks!

(This is me not responding to your post, by the way.)
It would be unsizingly difficult to provide a means to update Xtras within the app. For the most part, addon authors are (Tick would like me to be nice here, so you can imagine what insult I'd call people). They package multiple things into the same package, and none have a standard versioning system. A lot would have to change to make it feasible, and it would require an overhaul of how addons are distributed or managed.

That's acceptable, Zac, for the latter half of my question. So, in the meantime while we wait for Adium X 1.5, can someone add a Last Update date column on the Xtras pages?

And in direct response to your reply, I guess you're always thinking of ways to improve the Xtra submission system, so creators can better supply it with the right amount of detail, which could one day allow the distribution system to work the way we imagine it could in Adium X 1.5.

Indeed. The original plan was to make an Xtra Creator application, and in fact there is a sorta-kinda-working one in the source.
