A few Adium problems

EDIT: Oops, I posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry, go ahead and move it.

Alright, so I've let my AIM buddies list grow so long. I decided to trim it, and make groups for my AIM, MSN, ICQ, and Yahoo! buddies. However, I've ran into a few problems.

1. I can't delete the recent buddies group. No matter what I do, it just comes back and takes buddies from other lists. I tried using the official AIM client to delete it, but it doesn't even appear in the setup menu. How do I get rid of it?

2. Reread number one, but replace "recent buddies" with "orphans".

3. I have a bunch of MSN buddies stuck in the group "Buddies". I try to move them, but they move back to the buddies group. How do I get them to stay in another group?

4. I organized all my ICQ buddies into one nice little group. I signed off for a bit and came back online when I got back, and they were all in that damn buddies group. They go back to buddies everytime I sign on. Is it possible to keep them in the group I want them to be in?

5. I am having a similar problem like in question 4, but with AIM. I organized my buddies into one group, and some of them leave that group and go to the recent buddies group. How can I keep them in one group?!

Thanks, hope I can get some answers.

i have some similar buddy list problems.
I go to change the group of a buddy, and it gives me an error message, moves the buddy, and the next time i go on, the buddy is back where it originally was.

Though that happens on all of the third party clients, or so it seems.

The problem with "Recent Buddies" is that Adium has NOTHING to do with it. The AIM servers automatically make that group (and add people to it) for you as a "convenience." Thus, we can't do anything about it...

We currently have significant problems when doing major list reorganizations. I'm not totally sure if it's our fault or libgaim, but I'd be willing to bet something in libgaim is fouling up. This is one of our most annoying issues, and we'd love to figure out how to fix it :)
