Specifying "view contact" for groups?

Before I ask anything, I always like to compliment the Adiumy folks for doing such a great job :). I love Adium -- it's flexibility, it's openness to suggestion (e.g. this forum), the camaraderie between users, it's customizability... it's wonderful.

Okay, to my question -- it might be completely STUPID, but can't hurt to ask, can it? Is it possible to specify which groups you want to view as "Alias" and which you want to view as "Screen name?" For instance, I'd like to change my "Familia" group to "Alias" view, but leave all my friends and other buddies as just screen names. Is this possible?

Hmm, well I don't know if the devs would add that or not, but I can say that a workaround would be to set the display as alias, turn off address book integration, and only set an alias for your Familia group. That way, everyone else will not have an alias, and it will default to their screen name if you don't have address book integration, if memory serves me right.
