I was wondering what you all think this means for Adium? Does this mean it will be easier to incorporate AIM features?

I don't know how this whole "AOL IS OPENING UP AIM!!!!" thing got started, but it's simply untrue. All they're doing is giving third parties frameworks to enhance the AIM client's functionality. They're not publishing specifications for the OSCAR protocol.

well i tried to keep it rational because i read the article and that's what it sounded like but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if maybe they were opening the protocol a bit more.
