question regarding 1.0 and my contact list

for the past few betas up until 1.0 i noticed that when i would sign on, my jabber account would be listed in a 'buddies' group. i have never added any of my accounts to my buddy list and everytime i try to delete it, it reappears each time i sign back on. any ideas?
downloaded 1.0 today. same issue.
weird thing is, i also have used svn to get daily updatees of adium and compiled them. if i log on using the adium i compiled right when you pulled the first 1.0 app cast, my jabber account does not show up in my contact list. but with the new 1.0 release it does.

Is 'buddies' like a default jabber group for all contacts NOT in any group? Might explain it since jabber might think all contacts must be in A group.

People not replying to your post in a few hours does not mean you need to come and bump it.

You said you compiled Adium when the 1.0 appcast was out, but did you compile trunk? 1.0 branch and trunk are different.

what's the difference in paths for trunk and branch? and what is the path for branch, so that i might change if indeed i need to do so?
as for the response about bumping, considering this post was heading to the 2nd page, i wanted to bump to get an answer in case someone missed it that could help me. forgive me for posting in the first place. ill make note not to anymore.

Please don't bump posts. I look 2-3 pages back around release time. The "everything after page 1" generally does not apply to these forums.
Are you going to be working on Adium? If not, using the official release is going to be my recommendation.

the issue still occurs if i use the stable 1.0 release on the homepage.
