Hi,

Is there an option that would prevent a message window from being opened until I switched to Adium? This is mostly a privacy thing.

thanks.

This isn't doable at the moment, however you could hide Adium when you're not using it. Then message windows *shouldn't* open until you reveal it again.

This is one feature of iChat I really like, and miss. Maybe have it as an option that can be turned on or off.

I don't know much about programming or if this is even possible, but it would be nice if the message would be hidden and a Growl sticky notification would be displayed, and when you click on it the message would appear. Just a thought.

Can't do it yet, but it's something we want to implement in the future. Hiding is a good temporary solution.. Adium won't open windows when hidden until you un-hide it.

i see definite potential for combining hidden adium with sticky growl notifications to let you know that you have messages, but not show them.
