My text input box is black (above tabs, below conversations). It's been black since before message styles were used, and I'm not sure there's any place to change it to white. I was noticing that everyone's screenshots show it as white.
Does anyone else use a different color? If you do, do you know how to change it? Is it controlled by the message style?
I realize that .8 is supposed to fix many formatting things. Is there a chance this is part of that? If it isn't, can it be?
Thanks.

You don't need to toss it.dchoby98 wrote:Try opening the Fonts panel (Command-T, or the Format menu) and change your "Document Color" there. If that doesn't fix it, try tossing "Formatting.plist" in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Default/ if it exists.
Change it!
Code: Select all
<key>Default Background Color</key>
<string>255,255,255</string>Using "Com"+"T", the document color is always the same as the text color, and affects the text if I change it. I thought that seemed wrong, but couldn't see a way to fix it.
As for Formatting.plist in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Default doesn't exist, and there isn't a Formatting.plist in there. (I'm using .77, is that part of .8 SVN?). Also, what backgrounds would that affect? Only the text box, or the entire message window? If ir affects the window, does the message style override it?
Can I go ahead and add a Default folder with a Formatting.plist in there? If I need to add one (create one from scratch), what needs to go in there, or can I get a default one somewhere?
Thanks for the help.
