Tooltips

Hey guys,
I currently running SVN 9943, but I've had this problem since at least when Iw as running .76 if not since .7
Basically I have my contact list se tto "display behind other windows". Especially at the moment with MSN display name as status not working, I like to use the tooltip to see people's pictures and display name etc.
However, try as I might, I sometimes can't get it to show. I try having adium at the front, at the back, clicking on the contact list first, clicking on a contact, etc etc and then pausing my mouse over a contact, but sometimes thi doesn't seem to work (ie no tooltip shows)
I'm surte there is some combinations of steps that will guarantee the tooltip to show, but I can't work out what. It's not like it never works, just seems to be unreliable.
