Ever since I have upgraded to 1.0, I have been having troubles connecting to my AIM accounts.

I will get it intermittantly, but never guaranteed, and it usually disconnects me within a few hours, and won't let me reconnect. Nothing shows in Console when I run Adium, or when it has troubles connecting.

After reverting back to 8.9.1, Adium works like it did before, with no issues. And has been running for some time without issue.

It seems like others have similar problems, but nothing similar. I have tried logging in with other screen names, reestarting, logging in through AIM Express, so I know it doesn't have to do with my accounts, it just seems to be 1.0.

Any suggestions??

Any chance you could submit a console log?

I had this same problem as well, and I think I might have the solution.

I performed a fresh install, having upgraded from Fire 1.5.6. The first thing I noticed was that AOL IM wasn't connecting, but Fire still did, plus Gaim on my PC connected to AIM fine as well.

I decided to check the server settings. The first thing I noticed that the login server that Adium was trying to connect to was some sort of strange server I wasn't familar with.

I changed it to login.oscar.aol.com:5190 which worked fine on Gaim on my PC, then reconnected. Adium now works great without any problems for me!

This bug in the Fire->Adium upgrade code has been fixed for 1.0.1 (for the sake of future upgraders)
