Deleted contacts apppear after every restart

Hi,
i Have got two problems (using Adium since ages now):

1. When deleting a contact from my contact list it reappears every time I restart Adium.

2. Also when sorting my contact in another order it asks me to get a new authorisation from this contact?!

Any idea what to do?

Still no reply

I still have the contacts reapearing after each start of Adium. I delete them again, but whatever I tried: They reapear.

Any ideas?

Try deleting them with the official client (of whichever service you're using).

Yes, can you please tell us what protocol (AIM, Google Talk, MSN, etc) your using. This can make a difference, especially if it's Google Talk, where you will need to delete the contact through GMail.

In this special case it is an ICQ contact. Do I really have to install ICQ to delete the contact?
