command+right isn't End?

I was typing a message and I wanted to jump to the beginning of the line, so I tried command+left arrow, which I thought was standard. I did that and jumped to another chat window! Not quite what I expected.

I tried to search through trac to see if someone had submitted this already so that I could see the devs' response, but I didn't really know what to search for.

So, is this behaviour decided on fer sure?

It's supposed to switch tabs, but for some reason it will even switch to tabs in other windows. For the time being you can change it in general preferences.
