Hi, is it possible to save a custom sound set? Like, I wanna combine sounds from a few packages and save it as my favorite sound set.

Or, how to temporarily make Adium silent?
ie: when watching movie, I dont wanna be disturbed by the sound, though I like the sound when not watching movie / listening to music.

You can make a certain status mute adium when you have it set (say, for example "away: watching a movie" would mute adium).
