Ok so I want to change all the text that appears in a message window. I.e. All the text I type, All the text other users type and our usernames and time stamps. I have tried changing default text style, this works for what I type but not for the thex I recieve from other users, I have also tried the text options in the messages pane of the preferances. As far as I can tell changing anything in this section does nothing at all to anything???????? Help please Ohh and I have also tried trashing my formatting file, no joy

Do you have "Show received message fonts/colors" turned on in message prefs?

Nope I have unchecked that option....
