Default Instant Messaging Client

Every time I quit and then open Adium, I get the message asking if I want Adium X to be the default instant messaging client on my system. I keep saying yes and the message keeps popping up every time I open the program. Anyone have a tip to make this stop?

I have the same problem... but only after a reboot.
