Shouldn't a xtra be re-approved after upgrade?

Hello there.
Shouldn't a xtra be re-approved and placed as a recent submission after upgrade of zip-file and version? I've seen other upgraded icons show under the recent ones. Or have they just deleted their xtra and replaced it with an exact one + the new stuff? But doing so would erase xtra the stats..
Could someone explain this to me?

xtras have to be reapproved in situations like that.

I just submitted an extra, approved it, and updated the binary. It was successfully pushed back into the "must be approved" queue.

okay.
But when I've temporarily disabled my icons and upgraded them with new zip files, changes, versions, thumbnails, preview pictures and then clicked 'Enable/Approve xtra' they just get instantly approved. I thought they should be pending again to be looked on by the dev's or something? And then also be placed under recent submissions.
So, have something gone wrong or is there just something I'm not getting?

Alright, I fixed this.
Disabling sets Status = Disabled
Hitting "reënable" used to set Status = Approved
Hitting "reënable" now sets Status = Pending

okay, good.
This only happened with xtras I upgraded, not with new xtras that was created for the first time. But It's a pity so many missed them just because they stayed way back after the upgrade

zac,
Is there any chance that the two icons I upgraded can be placed under recent submissions since that's where they really should be?
more problems with the xtra site...

I updated my dock icon xi4dox, and this time it went into pending state after like it should.
But instead another problem showed up, I cant replace the old zip with my new one! So now I have to put i on hold until this is fixed. I tried to upload the new zip file more than 5 times I think, and with different browsers but it was to no help. I must ask what's up with the xtras site, these bugs has screwed up my xtras far too many times..

I'm unable to duplicate the issue, make sure no errors are popping up when you attempt to upgrade.
And be nicer. I do this on my own time, and I volunteer it. Until you give me a paycheck, you're going to have to deal with problems that may crop up.

i do the xtras on my spare time too, but ok, yeah i'm sorry. i just got a little irritated beacause it seems to happen often. and last time you fixed it i think you didn't do it all out. yes, you got it pending like it should, but my xtra stayed back in the list as it never was updated. i also asked kindly if it is possible to put it where it should really be if everything worked as it should, but you didn't even reply.

Nope, no errors.

I guess you just said that because you got pissed off by my post? There may be many others with the same problem, a problem that can be growing, and eventually needs solving, they can't be ignored just because one user got off on the wrong foot with you.

You're taking this quote out of context. You need to read the entire line, not just the sentence you quoted.

I'm sorry I'm not that good at english, don't entirely understand what that means then. Does it mean that he's going to try and fix the problem or just leaving it as it is because he got offended?

Note taken, will think of that when more problems occure in the future.
So.. The bug is still there anyways, it appears only with xtras that I update. When I replace the old zip with a new one nothing happens. I'm sent to the Xtra saved page as if everything was ok, with no errors whatsoever. Then I click 'Back to your xtra' and the old zip is still there. I tried it once more just a sec ago to be sure that it behaves the same before posting. Zac, could you take a look at this when you have the time?
cheers.

Upload the zip to another location, or email it to me. What is its file size, and what did you use to create it.

The filesize is 2.7 mb and I used stuffit to create the zip.
EDIT: removed the link from here, will send it to you with pm instead.
Thanks man.

It appears the php.ini file is set to deny files that large. I'll look into it sometime this week with the hosting provider.
