Authorization request: closed the window by mistake

Hello all,

Today, I received an authorization request coming from another user on MSN.
The issue is that I was doing something else then, and I closed the window by mistake (I think I closed it with ENTER, and I am not sure what is the default answer of the window).
So I don't know who tried to contact me.

I was wondering if there is a place (a logfile or something) where I can find previous authorization requests.

Thanks

Well, as the user who sent me the authorization request is unknown, he is not yet in my contacts list, so there is nothing in the log viewer.
Also, I am not talking about a real message sent to me, but about a system message warning me that user X wants to add me to his contact list and asking for the authorization.
I am looking for a way to find who is X.

I think such system messages should be logged somewhere.

Thanks anyway

Maybe we can just set it to not have a default firstresponder on that dialogue, so mistaken enters/returns won't be enterpretted as an answer?

OK, I found a way to get the identity of the one who tried to contact me.

In the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/ByObject/, there was a file called:
MSN.username@hotmail.com.plist

(I found that by reproducing the event with a username I created myself on MSN)

But to be able to allow this user to see me, I had to unblock him because when you deny the authorization request to someone, it blocks him!
And now way to unblock him from Adium as far as I know.
So you have to use MSN messenger.

Yes please! Having it set to deny by default is confusing, for my little brain at least.

The placing is awkward too; I would expect the “Authorize” button to be on the right!

Screen shot of how it is now in the beta?

Well sorry if you changed it, but my Adium has been unusable for a while (crashes, unrelated to App Support/Adium 2.0 or the Preferences files)
