It seems that Adium parses the CR / LF / CRLF in themes wrong: as I already asked for help here, it seems that Adium inserts a <br> everytime the CR character is used in a message theme. That causes a lot of positioning problems.
It's a minor and irritating bug, but it isn't worldshocking.
CR/LF/CRLF issues are in most network applications: If I send a message with a CR in it (multiple line message) then sometimes my correspondent doesn't see the text on multiple lines. It might be an issue of Adium, or perhaps of my correspondant's client (Gaim in this case)
EOL issue in themes
That happens when sending through ICQ.
But I have to admit that I only tested it with the correspondent uses the last stabel version of Gaim on a windows platform.
Also: when I receive a multiple line conversation from a windows (official) ICQ client, I recieve the message with twice as much new lines.: when the user sends
