Problem with different dockicons on two OS X useraccounts

On my MacBook i have two different useraccounts. On each one i use Adium with different Jabber accounts, and i have both instances of Adium customized differently. Unfortunately on one OS X useraccount Adium always "forgets" the dockicon i selected: when i boot the computer, the dock shows the icon i selected for Adium on the other useraccount. I first have to start Adium, then it changes to the right icon. It's even more strange, because that icon i only have installed on the other useraccount. Is that a known bug and is there a workaround that makes Adium remember the right dockicon?
I hope it is clear what my problem is. It's kind of complicated to discribe it with my poor english...

  1. How are you changing the icons?
  2. Do you actually have two copies of Adium installed?

I have only one copy of Adium. It's located in "Macintosh HD > Applications". Then i customize it on each OS X useraccount with "Preferences > Appearance". There is in each useraccount an own copy of the folder "Adium 2.0" and an own version of the file "com.adiumX.adiumX.plist".
It all works fine when Adium is running. It's just when the app is inactive, it shows the wrong icon in the dock and in the applications folder.
This is not a big problem, but it's kind of annoying. I just thought i ask if this bug is known and if other people are experiencing the same problem.
