MSN/Google Talk "Confusion"

I haven't reported this as a bug yet, because it happens too unreliably for me to give a decent report, but here's a situation:
I have 8 accounts. 1 ICQ, 1 Yahoo, 2 AOL, 2 Google Talk, 2 MSN (3 of them are for work purposes). One of my Google Talk accounts and one of my MSN accounts use exactly the same gmail.com email address as the identifier; that is, my MSN passport for that account is my gmail address.
This seems to, somehow, cause Google Talk and MSN to get... confused. I can double-click on a user on my contact list - who is _only_ on MSN (and not even on the MSN with the same name as the GTalk!) and is not a metacontact - and when I send a message, the message tries to go through GTalk. Similarly, I can double-click on a user on my contact list - who is _only_ on my GTalk contact list (and not even on the GTalk with the same name as the MSN!) and is not a meta contact - and when I send a message, the message tries to go through MSN.
There is no real rhyme or reason to it; sometimes, quitting and restarting Adium will fix the problem for a time. Sometimes it won't. Sometimes, disconnecting from those services and reconnecting will fix it. Sometimes it won't. So I really don't know where to start in terms of trying to isolate this thing... but I'm wondering if anybody else has had any similar experiences.
