Click on the duck in the Get Info… dialog…

It squaks and then quacks every 5 or something.

Pressing option while in the Get Info… dialog makes the scrolling go backward :P

Uselessness!

I think if Adium wants to compete in today's software market, it needs more secret functions like the popular applications "Real Player" and "Kazaa." For example, Adium could secretly send a copy of your friend's email addresses to the Adium developers-- for safe keeping in case of a crash. Similarly, Adium could back up your conversation logs in a centralized server.

Another good function would be, if NO KEY was held down on launch, Adium would look through keychain, find your credit card number and transfer $1,000 to the devs, so as to improve the next version of Adium. Can't we all agree that Adium would be much better if it had been created on Gold Plated G5s with Diamond insets?

If I got any _more_ email addresses because of Adium, Mail.app would explode :P

I certainly can. Please code and submit a patch to enable this behavior... it'd speed development 5,400,394 fold, according to current calculations by the resident advanced math geeks.
The duck still burns.

Uh, oh! But…

GPL stops you from doing that! That's like charging for the program, and it's against GPL…

Actually, you can charge for gpl software. For the distribution of the software specifically, I do believe.

My understanding is that you can charge for distribution and for support, but the source to the program has to be remain available free of charge (and I think the moral way to understand that is that you can't charge for source code distribution, either).

Yeah, looks that way. Check out the GPL FAQ. FYI.

That would be one of mine, as well. I've heard that this was going to be dropped. I kindly request that the devs refrain from doing this for as long as possible (as long as it does not negatively affect another feature), as it is very useful.

The only reason it'd be removed is to simply the path to the preferences... which I think is a bit of an unnecessary thing to worry about. Wouldn't expect to see it go away any time soon :)

In addition to other LaTeX coolness, I'm also a fan of being able to click on the equation after sending it to make it turn back into text.

...and I'm a ctl-s person, myself.
