I'm new to Adium and am still having "duplication" problems with it as explained here http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic. ... highlight=even after upgrading to 1.0.2 but I now have another quirk,

Since upgrading to 1.0.2 I no longer get notification sounds when certain events occur, such as an incoming message.

I just know I should be able to RTFM and find the reason but I've tried, really I have, and I just can't suss out what I'm doing wrong.

Any help, please?

I also had a problem with no sound notifications after upgrading to both 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. I was able to do two things which seemed to solve the problem.

First I would try changing the sound attached to single event. Basically turn it on and off. If just one event does not do it, you might also switch the entire sound set to something else and switch back. That worked for me after the most recent update. Switching the sound set is good if you don't have a significant amount of customization in your sound notifications since they may get reset.

I use the trillian soundset which is an Xtra and I also was successful when I deleted the sound set and reinstalled it.
