4 questions for ye:

• how do i save my modified contact list properly? (it keeps on changing, argh)
• where can i download more status icons?
• my typing-text is always oblique, ive tried to change it via right-click in the text field, through the "A" in the toolbar and in preferences. nothing works.
• how do i change the marked contact color in the contact list?

Marked as in the one selected?

This is just your highlight color. At least it is for me. You can change that in the appearance pref pane.

This is just your highlight color. At least it is for me. You can change that in the appearance pref pane.

yes, thats what i mean.
hmm, i have looked through appearance pref pane many, many times now, and the customize prefs. cant find it

System Prefs -> Appearance -> Highlight Color

im going F crazy, do i also have to choose "customize" in the appearance prefs?

Read Adam's post. System Preferences, not Adium preferences.

ok, then i understand..
but before the color was purple in adium, and on next startup it was blue - without me messing with systemprefs/appearance. doesnt that mean that it isnt really affected by the setup in sys.prefs?

Maybe your computer is just schizophrenic and has multiple color personalities!

It's always blue in the sidebar (or grey if you use the graphite theme), so maybe that's what you're looking at?
