I've browsed around the forum for quite a bit now and haven't found an answer to this problem yet. I rolepay a bit and different things so sometimes I have to talk with the same person from different MSN accounts at the same time (not in a joint group chat).

The problem I have is that even with the "Message" option in the toolbar I find it quite hard to chat with the person from different accounts when I don't see the contact in two different chat windows. People sometime complain that I say sentences with the wrong account, even though I made sure I sent it from the right one when I sent it.. I love tabbed chatting, but there should be different windows for different accounts. Even the "New chat" option doesn't help me much as when I choose the "message" option in the new window I get thrown back into the old tab with the same person, but that I started with my other account.. and the whole thing just confuses me..

How can I be sure that when using the "message" tool the sentences get to the right chat window of the person I'm talking to (from my two different accounts in one window into the person I'm talking to's two different ones).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This isn't possible in Adium. We sacrifice the ability to have 'unique' source accounts for smoother operation with multiple shared source accounts.
