I don't know how open you guys are to new feature requests as I know your working hard to iron out the bugs in 0.8 But hay Im going to go ahead any way.

It would be great to see a way of linking a large and small contact style. So that If the large message view exceed the height of the screen it could automatically switch to small version.

Any thoughts?

Nice idea! I personally got no use for it with my 16 contacts and 1600*1200...
