Hey, I can't seem to find the (equivalent of) "allow contacts to see idle time" option to uncheck it. I'm using v0.77.

Is it just as simple as unchecking the "automatically set away after..." and "idle after..." boxes on the idle tab in status preferences? Or will I still be seen as idle by an adium default?

Yes, unchecking those should do the trick. In 0.8 the language is "Let others know I am idle after [X] minutes of activity" which makes it a little more clear.
