When some of my MSN contacts (the trend seems to be the Windows Live client users) disconnect, they still show as online/away/whatever their status was before they disconnect.
Now, this may seem like a minor problem to some, but as many of my friends put their mobile number on their accounts, my messages get sent as text messages to their phones. Since I get no feedback that they're not actually online (it doesn't say that the message can't go through, because it actually does go through, albeit to their phone), sometimes I send multiple messages to them and each one costs $$$ for those without unlimited incoming texts. Even though it's like a dime a message, it adds up pretty easily.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I tried searching on Trac, but I couldn't find anything.
