i'm using adium 1.0.2 and i can't see all of my buddies user icons in AIM. i have show user icons checked under view. what else can be causing this?

You might want to check what your setting is for using Address book icons. It has helped others to turn this off. Go to Preferences>Advanced. Select the address book on the left side and then check use address book icons off under images.

May not be the cause but at least you can eliminate it.
