incoming message font size with stockholm style

Hi,

I am using 1.0.2 with OX 10.4.9. I am also using the stockholm message style. I have noticed that the incoming messages appear very small.

I went to the the message tab under preferences and I unclicked show received message fonts and colors.

However, this does not appear to be affecting the incoming font.

I am using Lucinda Grande 12. I tried changing the font to Helvetica 18 and it did increase the font on the incoming message but it also increased the font on my messages to something absurd. The best way I can describe it is that it the incoming size seems to be proportional to the font my messages are typed in.

Is this an artifact of the stockholm message style?

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to increase the incoming message font size without blowing up the font on my messages?

Try prefs->advanced->messages->minimum font size

Thanks Evan. I saw that but since the check box that activates the minimum font also activates a custom name format and time stamp, I was a little confused as to what the overall effect of all 3 changes would be.

Just an observation, maybe in future versions, those should be separate check boxes, so you could activate one of the 3 settings instead of all 3.

Either way, hopefully this solves my problem. Thanks again.

It doesn't. The checkbox only activates "use custom name format". Time stamp format and minimum font size are enabled regardless of the 'use custom name format' checkbox's status. The right-aligning of the three to make their colons line up might be confusing... I'd never seen it that way, but I can see now why one might come to that conclusion.

That's good news. The alignment does make it seem like all 3 are activated by the check box. Perhaps the easiest modification might be to switch the order and put the check box below the other two.

Thanks again.
