Jabber Help

I'm trying to register a username under Jabber and I have not been able to get it working in the past hour or so.
I have tried different servers and different methods of registration (Adium and web registration).
I keep getting error messages.
Anyone able to offer advice/help?

What a coincidence, I was just trying to figure out how to register a Jabber account myself. As far as I can tell Adium cannot register new jabber accounts (why is this?), so I downloaded Psi
http://psi.affinix.com/ and used it to register a new account. Worked perfectly.

Will it be possible to create Jabber Accounts with Adium in the near future?

it was in 0.7x but not 0.8

It's on our to-do list. That means, we're aware of the need, but no guarantees about *when* it will happen.
