a few things

First of all you guys are freakin' awesome. Oh my God. I have never seen such a full amount of clear advice. Good job. Second question which is my bigger problem. Does anyone know how to get files using Adium? using regular AIM, you can get files by simply clicking the username and clicking get file. How do I look and retrieve files from a buddy's folder if it is made public? Thank you.

Second question: does anyone know how to save to a specific folder. I am not able to do so. Only a certain amount of folders are available at times. Thank you.

I could swear this same question was asked not too long ago on the forums, but I can't find it. I see now that it pertains to shared folders. This feature currently isn't available in Adium (you can neither set a shared folder nor see others' shared folders). Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever even seen this feature (or lack thereof) mentioned on the forums.

oh man, someone if possible should be able to come up with that. I am trying to use it to transfer files from my pc to my mac. This would simplify file tranfers for a lot of feature.
