Recover lost password that adium still has

I lost my gmail-password. Adium however still has it. Ofcourse the first place to go is google itself, and here I was adviced to go to this website for software to recover my password from where google talk has it stored.
As of this point, you might've gotten the catch. I don't use google talk, I use Adium. So my question now is whether I can somehow recover my password out of the file in which Adium stores these passwords?
The topic on google groups also explaines why other account-recovery methods fail. Basically I don't have a secondary e-mail account and I made the answer to my secret question impossible to know because I trust myself (too much, apparently) to remember my passwords.
