email upon contact signing on?

I was wondering if it was possible to make Adium send me an email upon someone on my buddy list signing on?
I checked out the list of actions in the prefs but i didn't find anything like that so I was wondering if was even possible.

OK i will post in that forum.
But is there one already written that does this? Or would i have to find someone who knows how to make it and ask for a hand?

Doesn't Growl do this? I might be wrong though, but check it out at

Growl has an email display style, so you could setup an event in Adium that triggers a notification in Growl that could do this.
The trick to this is that you need to have Mail setup for email, and some people have better luck with Growl installed in /Library/PreferencePanes over ~/Library/PreferencePanes
