Specific contact alerts

Perhaps this has been discussed elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

Trillian offers the ability to be alerted when a particular buddy signs on. Does Adium have something similar, or is it in the works? For example, let's say I want to know when a friend who is rarely online comes on, but I don't want to watch constantly for him to come online. Could Adium notify me when that person signs on?

Right click on the contact in the list > Alert > + > Choose your alert

Ah ha! You mean right-click and do "View Info" and then go to the Alerts tab. Silly me. Perfect... thanks.
