Disappearing contact window

I have my contact list set to hide on the edge of my screen, but if I leave it for more than a 5-6 hours, it refuses to show again even if I go to Window>Contact List, until I restart Adium.

Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

I sometimes see this when waking the computer from sleep.
