im going nuts and am about to delete adium from my computer its bugging me so bad . . how do you completely delete/reset you adium buddy list so it is forces to go server side to import contacts again????

some help would be great before the world is one adium user smaller. i dont want to uninstall everything cause then i loose my list set up and shape and look and stuff and im not figuring that out again.

What version of Adium are you using? What's the problem with it importing your contacts? Contacts are missing? Contacts are showing up which aren't on your list? Groups are missing? Contacts are in the wrong groups? Groups are showing up which aren't on your list?

my issue is i had a list on aim for mobile device the list that is created by aol when you sign onto your phone with a name. so i put the people i wanted in that list and it was all cool. then i realized on adium that instead of showing up on in my friends or family or original groups they were showing up all mixed in the mobile device part of my list.

so i was like ohh well i never use my phone for that ill just delete the mobile device list from my aol list using the aol client and it will be all good adium will update . . but it didnt.

so i was like well ill move these, to where i wanted them, then it messed with my aol server side list - luckly i back up.

so i went on aols official client loaded that back up that was correct with what i wanted and am using ichat until i figure this out.

i just want to delete any thing i have to that has my buddy list stored into adium so its almost like a fresh install where it has to search and download the list in the first place. like a fresh start with my buddy list i guess. force it to go and find the list again and download it correctly so it all snycs up nice.


i would just reinstall but i dont want to lose my list/chat setups and or preferences cause it took me forever to get adium tweeked to how it is.

so i guess i just want to know where adium stores my list so i can delete it and force it to download a fresh copy from aol's server?
