Weird stuff in links

Sometimes when I get a link from a buddy I get this string behind the url:

%3Cbr%20/%3E

I can´t see it in the msg window but when I click on it I see it in Safari and have to delete it to get to the site.

I happens with .077 and 0.8b5
I don´t know why it happens sometimes, and sometimes not.
I´m using Adium for ICQ only.

That is <br />, the line break in HTML.

This was discussed before and I wonder if there were any fixes.
