"Dismiss all" for mail notifications

Post by DaveMan »

I wish there was a "Dismiss all" button on mail notifications in addition to the "OK" and "Open Mail" buttons.

When I leave my Yahoo! IM account connected overnight, I have 30 dialogs I have to dismiss in the morning. This makes the new mail notification more hassle than it's worth.

I totally agree. I've been saying for a while that there should be an option to have mail notifications come up in a message window, so that I can close that one message window and be done with it, but what you're saying is good too. The betas let you have a growl notification for new mail messages, but they still don't give you the option to have no window other pop up, which means that if a significant number of messages come in while you're away, you'll have a lot of clickin' to do.

PS Welcome to the Forums.

I have this on my own list of things to improve at some point, though it is not a priority for .80.
The duck still burns.
