iChat transcript import hangs

Title pretty much says it all. When trying to import chat transcripts from iChat, it will go through a couple, and then just hang. I don't see anything particularly unusual about the chats that hang it up.

Is it just buggy, or am I missing something?

I am a bit biased since I wrote the code but you need to at least provide a sample to help determine what's hanging. I imported over a thousand logs from over 4 years or more and it worked fine.
