Adium 1.1.1 Not Remembering Multi-Monitor Configurations
My understanding was that the newest version of Adium (1.1.1+) supports memorization of contact list position with multiple monitors. What I thought that this feature meant was, if I connected my MacBook Pro to an external monitor, it would move the contact list to the pre-defined position. Further, if I unplug, it should move the contact list back to the spot selected on the internal display. Is that correct? If so, I am using a MacBook Pro 2.16 (Core 1 Duo with the better video card) and a Dell/Samsung 24" via DVI.

The contact list won't jump to a new location when your monitor configuration changes, though that's an interesting idea (please see http://trac.adiumx.com/wiki/RequestingFeatures to request that!). The support is that when the contact list opens -- whether from you opening it or from Adium launching -- the setting associated with your monitor configuration is used.
Try this:
1. Put the contact list where you want it on your two-monitor configuration.
2. Close the contact list
3. Go to one-monitor.
4. Open the contact list. Put it where you want it.
5. Close the contact list.
6. Go to two-monitor. It *should* now be where it was on two-monitor.
