Transcript Searches

Post by Karwood »

I don't think I'm crazy, but I seem to remember at one point that you could use the find command to search the transcripts in Adium.. It's not a feature I use often, but today when I was looking for some information, after opening up the Chat Transcript Viewer in Adium 1.1.1, then hitting cmd-F, the Mac just beeped at me.

All the find options seem to be greyed out unless I have clicked in the lower right chat history window of the chat transcript viewer- which is fine if I want to find something in a log I have selected, but if I'm searching for a particular item, it's kinda useless.

I know I did this before, I just can't remember what I did to make it happen. Am I crazy?

There's a search field in the top right; that's what you want. The normal 'Find' command is just going to search through the transcript you're currently viewing, if any.
The duck still burns.
