First off I love Adium and I enjoy the level to which you can personalise it, the Goonies soundset is a gift from God.
However I do have a question and/or slight grumble and I would appreciate some help.

"Does Adium support blocking?
No, Adium does not currently support blocking. However, if you block someone with the official client, Adium will respect it"

It says in the above quote that "if you block someone with the official client, Adium will respect it"
That doesn't seem to work for me, people I ignored ages ago (on Yahoo) have been able to message me while I have been using Adium.

Also going on what the above quote says I thought that I would be able to ignore people by shutting down Adium, logging into the Offical Client (Yahoo) and adding them to my ignore list from there. Even though they appear on my ignore list, and they can't message me on the offical client, they can message me on Adium.

Since I am not very computer adept, I am open to the suggestion that I am just being stupid but can anyone offer any help with this or will I just have to wait to 0.8 when blocking hopefully comes into effect?

there have been other reports too of blocking not being respected by adium. in the beta of 0.8 blocking seem to work fine on the msn field. i blocked my other account

maybe it works better for yahoo too? you mght want to try the beta, but be aware.. make a back-up since you will probably have to set-up a few things agani to make it work like before.
