Buddy List Gone

Post by Matthew M. »

Hello,

Today, I did an Erase An Install of Leopard and while everything worked well, as I went to install Adium back on my iMac, I signed into my account and my buddy list is gone. It's just blank under my name. Is there a way to fix this? I hope I don't have to readd everyone again. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The "Erase and Install" option completely wipes the partition you select; if your Users directory was on that partition, your settings for Adium were lost.

Are all of your accounts set up?

I forgot to mention that I did make a complete clone of my hard drive to an external last night before the upgrade. Would the settings be in there?

Yeah, you can restore them from there. Check

Code: Select all

~/Library/Application\ Support/Adium\ 2.0/Users/Default
and copy the files to the same location on your new install.
