Connection Log or Debug Window

Does Adium keep a connection log or something similar to the contents of the Pidgin debug window? Is there a hidden command or menu to turn this on?

Yes and no. Beta builds, Development builds (from the source), and Deployment-Debug builds (from the source) have a menu item under the Adium menu "Adium Debug Window" which contains everything from libpurple's debug output plus all other Adium debug output. Release builds have this disabled for performance reasons.
