i searched the forums for an answer to this and didn't find it.
i recently upgraded to adium 1.1.4 and growl 1.1.2 and ever since then application switching using growl has not worked correctly.
in my previous versions of growl, when a growl displayed a message from adium indicating an incoming chat, i could click on that growl chat and be taken directly to the chat window from that user. if "anne" sent me a chat, and growl displayed it, i could click that growl display, and be taken right to anne's growl chat pane.
now i switch to adium, but NO WINDOW IS ACTIVE. i have to manually click on a chat pane to activate it.
i COULD use osx application switching (command-tab) to go to adium, and the last used chat window will be active. so it seems like growl or adium is deactivating the current chat when growl is used to switch apps.
any help would be appreciated!

Adium and Growl app switching
i have duplicated this thread over at Growl:The_Tick wrote:What growl display style are you using?
http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic. ... 8992#98992
but to further duplicate my replies, here's what i tested did and did not work:
these themes result in inactive (bad) switching:
Above the Night
Candybars
Crystal
NotifyOS9
NotifyOSX
Plain
these work:
Bezel
Brushed
Bubbles
iCal
Smoke
nano and music video do not switch at all.

This definitely narrows things down.
