First... I'm running Leopard.. Adium is fine.... but.... what's growl??? What's it's purpose?
Second... I had Adium on Tiger but when I did a clean install... reinstalled Adium, I now don't have the "pop" noise I got when sending and receiving messages... how do I get that back? I don't always see the "flashing" icon in my dock.
Third..... Some of my most frequently used emoticons from Yahoo aren't in the list of Yahoo smilies... any chance of adding those???
Thanks!

Growl is a system wide notification system that third-party applications (Adium is one, but many many others exist) can automatically tie into and, say, let you know when a download is done, or when someone signs on. You can uninstall Growl at any time.username77 wrote:First... I'm running Leopard.. Adium is fine.... but.... what's growl??? What's it's purpose?
