Migrating from Windows-Linux Pidgin to MacOSX Adium

Hi,
I'm a fresh new Mac user who have always used (and loved) Pidgin as IM client. As you may know, Pidgin runs on Windows and on Linux only. Here on MacOS 10.5 I've found Adium that uses the same Pidgin core library (libPurple). I was wondering how to import Pidgin accounts, logs and status messages into Adium.
Importing everything from Windows to Linux was a joke as it simply required a cut and paste operation of the .purple settings directory.
Is there a way to do something similar with Adium?

Thanks,
Pietro

Additional note (added 2 December 2007):
I've opened a new enhancement ticket request to the Adium development page and it immediately went to the group "Good ideas for -later-" (I don't know if it is an euphemism for "Ticket trash").
Implementing an assisted importing procedure would serve also to Linux Pidgin users who switched to Mac. Not to sound redundant, but if there could be a seamless interoperability between Pidgin and Adium, one could have the chance to use the same IM client (functionally speaking) on three different operating system and hence have access to all logs and accounts and synchronize them in an easy way. This could be a great thing even for Mac users running Windows or Linux in Boot Camp or users with similar scenarios.

See you,
Pietro
