How to sent different auto reply for each Yahoo account

Hi,

I'm using Adium X 1.1.4.

I've been searching for the answer to this and can't find it so:

Is there any way to set up and assign a different auto responder for each of my Yahoo accounts?

When I am offline and someone contacts me, I want to be able to have an auto response to them that says something like:

Sorry I missed you! I'll answer as soon as I'm back online, or you can just email me at techsupport at whatever dot com.

And a different auto responder for the sales department.

Is there anyway to do this?

Thanks!

Yes, you can set different away messages for each account. This can be done via the Status menu.

Hi thanks for your reply. Can you be a little more specific...

step-by-step process to do this? Can you give me an example?

Make different Away statuses for each account, then use the Status menu to set an away for each account. Step by step -
1. Adium > Preferences > Status > click + button.
2. Title: Away [Tech Support]
Status Message: Away (or whatever you want it to be)
Check Auto-reply with a custom auto-reply message: Sorry I missed you! I'll answer as soon as I'm back online, or you can just email me at techsupport at whatever dot com.
[and different ones for each account]
3. Repeat 1 and 2 for each account, making a separate away message with custom auto-reply.
4. When you want to go away, click Status > Yahoo Account #1 > Select your custom away.
5. Repeat step 4 for each account.

Makes sense?
