is there a way to insert your current iTunes song into an existing or custom away message?

I tried that but when I click on edit and go to the insert script or insert itunes token, the scripts are paled out. I can't click on them. Even if iTunes is open or not. This is after i've set my status to the itunes status. It won't let me choose a script.
